Responsible Service of Alchohol
The estimated annual cost to the Australian community of alcohol related problems is estimated to be in excess of six billion dollars.
Regular negative media surrounding alcohol related incidents and costly litigation means that the liquor industry is increasingly being held accountable for the effects of the products it sells.
The fines that apply to companies, licensees and individual staff can be devastating, and ignorance is no protection. So it makes simple business sense to ensure that every person involved in the service of alcohol is aware of the law and has the skills to minimise or prevent alcohol related incidents.
Undertaking the Liquor Licensing approved “Responsible Service of Alcohol” is one way of protecting your business, staff and patrons.
