Productivity Places Program

The Productivity Places Program is part of the Australian Government's Skilling Australia for the Future initiative. It provides training places in skills and occupation where job opportunities exist and is designed to help people secure long term employment. It's a great way to improve your skills so you can find employment.

Participants can gain a new qualification or upgrade an existing qualification. If you are looking for work, the Australian Government will fully fund training under the Program.

To be eligible for a training place, you need to be:

  • Currently looking for work
  • An Australian citizen or a permanent resident
  • Be over the age of 15.

Some other eligibility criteria apply - this is available from Blueprint Career Development or your local employment service provider. You also need to be assessed by your local employment service provider  as having capacity to benefit from the training. Please note, full-time students and people who are self employed are not eligible for the program.
