Gaming
Responsible Gambling Service is a nationally recognised unit of competence that is essential to staff working in organisations that provide gambling. This unit is required in order to apply for and attain a gaming licence. Gaming organisations include: casinos, clubs and hotels, race clubs, TAB's and other related areas.

- A profile of the gaming industry
- Relevant legislation, regulations and industry codes of practice.
- Harm minimisation
- Ability to respond appropriately to customer requests with information about support services.
- Awareness of customers displaying observable signs of distress or seeking assistance, and the most suitable response to be taken in such circumstances.
- Indicators of problem gambling - types of behaviour common to gamblers
- Legislative framework for responsible conduct of gambling - what the law requires
- Strategies to implement responsible conduct of gambling
- The benefits of providing gambling services responsibly
Recommended Participants
Staff employed in premises offering gaming are required to complete this nationally recognised unit of competence in order to obtain a gaming license.

4 hours of face-to-face delivery and assessment.

$95 per person or $75 per person for groups of 8 or more.
